Admin & Setup

This is the place that you need to configure properly, once and for all.

At the top of the page, there is a menu:

In order to leave the general settings page and perform specific settings, then you need
to use the menu above to find your desired settings.

Press here to add or edit users to your account.
Here is the information that you provided when you filled in the "Register"-form in order to get your DiJiJo-account.
Adding an activity, duty, service, treatment or whatever you have decided to call it
Adding a staff-member, therapist, mechanic or whichever you have decided to name the role of the persons performing the services in your business

But if you decide to stay on this page, we will go through each of the general settings...

Let's start with the common settings:

When you set a reminder, you set for the appointment-time. The actual reminder needs to be sent before the appointment occurs. How long before is what you set here.
You need to inform the system of your time-zone. That way, when you set an appointment, you can set it to your time, and the system will take that into consideration.
Set the "Alert Credit"-value to whan you need to recharge credits before running out.
If you have many reminders that are sent with Text(SMS), then the higher he value should be.
As you sign up, we send you information about how to be efficient with the DiJiJog-system. Also you will receive marketing-tutorials once a week during the first two or three months. If you don't wish to receive any of this, untick this box.

Next is the part containing the settings for the reminders:

These are the actual messages that will go out when a reminder is due.

"Insert Data Fields" is a powerful tool to insert dynamic contents into your messages.
Pressing it opens up a list of values that you can insert into the message. Just click on an item in the list to insert it at the position of the cursor in the message.
You can compose your message as you wish it presented to your clients. Your message can contain maximum 160 characters. The message will charge you one credit everytime it is sent.

Everytime you "pass" a Save-button, just press it.

There is a standard message stored in the system. If you wish, at any point, revert to it, then you can press the Reset-button.
The Email-version of the reminder has a powerful editor. The message is HTML-enabled, which means that you can format the text as you wish. Use different fonts, sizes, colours and even insert links and images. You can also design your message with your favourite tool and the paste it into the DiJiJog message-editor.
The Clear-, Reset- and Save-Buttons are distributed along the page. The Save-button saves everything on the whole page, not just the part where it's present.

Now follows the part about the Thank-you message:

Not much different than the reminder.

You have the option of NOT sending thank-you messages to your clients. In order to disable the Thank-you function, you need to untick the checkbox.

If you use thank-you messages, you can set the time between the appointment and when the message should be sent. Default is 2 days.
Use the "Insert Data Fields" to insert dynamic content into your message.

Compose your text-message(SMS) with a maximum of 160 characters.

Save!
Compose your thank-you email. Use the "Insert Data Fields" to insert dynamic contents, such as
  • Customer firstname
  • Customer surname
  • Appointment-date
  • your contact-name
  • your business-name
  • your contact-telephone
Save your messages before continuing to the next section!

The last section on the general-settings page is the confirmation-message:

If you read the previous two sections, you are by now an expert user.

The confirmation-message is optional, just like the thank-you message.

The message goes automatically out to the client as soon as you finish registering the appointment.
If you make a change to the actual appointment, the system will send out a new message with the new date and time for the appointment.
You can allways use the "Reset"-button to revert to the system's default-message.
And at last, don't forget to save!!!
